Sustainability Guide

This pamphlet provides guidance, examples, techniques, and educational information for site design considerations that promote surface storm water treatments into project sites. While many national resources for sustainable design are available, such as the LEED program, this resource provides considerations specific to the Cheyenne climate and the predominantly impervious urban setting of the West Edge. This guide promotes filtering of storm water to improve water quality in the larger stream system and reduce flood volumes in downtown Cheyenne using Low Impact Development (LID) techniques.
